We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Maureen Jarvis as the new principal of Brantford Christian School for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. The selection of Maureen is the result of an intensive search process by the Hiring Committee consisting of board, staff, and parent volunteers and we are so thankful for their time and commitment to this process.
Maureen comes to Brantford Christian School from King Christian School, where she was the principal for the past three years, and she has been working in Christian schools for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in teaching children to love God through learning about his world. Maureen has been an advocate for students in all areas of the classroom through her roles as a homeroom teacher, director of Special Education programs, and currently Principal.
Maureen is passionate about building connection and community at BCS through her relational leadership practices and positive enthusiastic energy. She is excited to foster collaboration and work with the entirety of the BCS community as we continue to create a stronger, healthier, and dynamic environment situated in spreading the message of God’s love.
Maureen’s husband, Jason, is also a Christian educator and is the Vice-Principal at Halton Hills Christian School. Together they have two children, a daughter named Kaiya and a son named Keanan. Both kids are currently enrolled in post-secondary education with Kaiya set to graduate from her program in April. They, along with their dog Cody, are from Burlington and are very excited to be headed back to the area and be close to family.
