Walking For Water

On April 30 our Grade 8 students walked 6 km while carrying buckets of water as they raised over $2,000 for EduDeo which hopes to drill wells for eight schools in Zambia. The students walked 6 km because that the average distance that a person in Zambia walks to have access to clean water. Through the event the students gained an increased appreciation for how easy their access to clean water is and also how they can make a difference for others in the world who do not have what they need.
