Role Overview
The Vice Principal serves as a key leader in fostering a Christ-centered, innovative, and engaging learning environment. This individual will work alongside the Principal to shape and implement the school’s vision, ensuring academic excellence, a strong community culture, and meaningful student development. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking educator who embraces collaboration, encourages professional growth, and supports instructional best practices. The Vice Principal will actively contribute to strategic planning, staff mentorship, and school-wide initiatives to create a vibrant, faith-driven educational experience for all students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum development and instructional coaching.
- Support student learning through data-driven teaching strategies.
- Guide professional development and mentorship for staff.
- Oversee transportation logistics and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support emergency response planning and health & safety initiatives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive school culture and student well-being.
Qualifications
- A strong personal commitment to Christian faith and values.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in education.
- Ability to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience with Teaching for Transformation and Responsive Classroom is an asset.
