Here are the steps to register at BCS:
1. Contact us
Contact us by clicking on the blue Contact Us button to fill out the initial inquiry form. Once you have submitted this information, you will receive an email to invite you to pick up the Registration package.
2. Apply
The registration package contains more information about BCS and registration forms. The forms include an application form, a membership application form, a pastor’s recommendation form, and a form with a few questions to be answered by the applying family.
In addition to the completed forms, registration requires payment of $400 which can be done by cheque. This fee is refundable should you not enroll at BCS. A copy of the child’s birth certificate and copies of three most recent report cards (if the child has attended school previously) are also required to fulfill the requirements for registration.
3. Meet the Principal & Assessment & Tour
Once all the forms have been submitted and reviewed, you will be invited to meet with the principal. During the meeting you will be asked to share about your interest in Christian education at BCS, your child’s academic background/developmental history, and what you believe your child would require to be successful in school. We believe in strong partnership with our families to ensure we are working together to build Christian students. You will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and gather more information about BCS.
While the principal meets with both parents, your child(ren) will meet with one of the Special Education Resource teachers for an assessment. The goal is to engage with your child to learn more about their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Following the meeting and assessment, we will take you on a tour of our facilities and see the amazing learning spaces we provide for our students and opportunity to engage with our wonderful staff team.
4. Decision
A decision will be made by the members of the Admission Committee on the application based on the Admissions policy at BCS and then the decision will be communicated to the family.
If accepted, an invoice for tuition will be sent out before the end of June.
