BCS offers an English Language Learning (ELL) program for students who are not yet proficient or fluent in English, or who would benefit from additional support.
We recognize that these students feel the extra stress of not understanding their peers and teachers so we do all that we can to alleviate their added burden. Students receive intensive English Language instruction for an hour each week, and for the rest of the week get the benefit of experience in the mainstream classroom.
Cost
The cost of the ELL program is $85/month/student based on one hour a week of instruction.
Number of Students
The number of ELL students per class in all grades (JK-8) will be determined by the members of the school administration. In general, no more than four ELL students will be placed in the same classroom.
