Opportunities to Serve at BCS

Through serving our community, Brantford Christian School students learn the joy of sharing and the responsibility we all have to help those in need. We endeavor to minister to those less fortunate who find themselves in difficult circumstances. We have an active Good Neighbour Campaign which has been operating for nearly five years now and through this project we have built a good relationship with many organizations in the Brantford community. Through these outreach ministries we have been able to teach our students to help others with their heart, soul and hands.

Here are some of the organizations we are connected with:

Resource Thrift Shop
Brantford Food BankServing at Brant Food Bank
Why Not City Mission
Salvation Army
Brantford SPCA
SKIP (Seniors and Kids Intergenerational Program)
Brantford Pregnancy Centre
Participation House
Brantwood Centre
Brantford Blessing Centre
Friendship House

In addition, we have a foster child we support who lives in the Philippines and our Student Council and Sports Council raise funds each year by having special Food Days and Spirit Days and collecting pop cans for recycling. All these opportunities to serve and reach out to our community allow us to put our faith into action!

This year our theme verse is taken from 2 Peter 3 verse 18:
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We are committed to helping those around us who are in need and we continue to strive to make a difference not only in their lives, but also in our own.
