Project Serve: This is a great opportunity to help! Calling BCS to take this opportunity to serve in our community. It is also a great way to show Brantford that BCS is available to work for our own community. On Canada Day there will be a community service at Lion's Park. If you have been to Harmony Square for the Project Serve events there, you will know what this is all about. Volunteers are needed to help on Canada Day from 1 - 9pm. You can choose an hour or more any time during those hours or on Monday, a clean up crew is needed to clean up Lion's Park after the Canada Day festivities! BCS could really help with this. If anyone can help, even spearhead a group of students to clean up for an hour, it would be most appreciated. Thank you! Please contact nicki@freedomhouse.caif you can help in any way! Note to Parents: Please note that we have one confirmed case and two suspected cases of scarlet fever in the grade three class. If your child presents any symptoms such as sore throat and an itchy rash, please take your child to the doctor. Once antibiotic treatment has been taken for 24 hours the child may return to school. This instruction is from the Brant County Health Unit. If you have any questions please call the school or the Brant County Health Unit. You can help prevent any spread of this virus by washing hands often and covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Summer Camps: If you require any information regarding summer camps, we have a number of brochures at the school office. Some camps are offering up to 20% discount. Please feel free to come in and browse through them if you are interested.
